This week in Humanities August 27-31

This week students worked on their individual Coat of Arms. Students were asked to identify an animal that represents them, a symbol that represents their strength, a person who is important to them and an image of what they wish to accomplish.

We are hoping to have these Coat of Arms completed by next week so we can hang them for everyone to see!

This week we also continued to read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, this week Charlie found his Golden ticket and has entered Willy Wonka's factory. The students all came up with questions of their own throughout the reading.

Students also had the opportunity for independent reading and writing.

Next week we are looking forward to going to the Learning Common to check out books for the first time this year!

Wishing everyone a safe and happy long weekend :)
