Wishing everyone a safe and restful spring break!
Over the break students should research about the upcoming election in Alberta.
Students should know who are the leaders of each of the political parties and who is running for MLA in Calgary-Fort (our constituency). Students should also research the individual political parties, what are their main campaign platforms?
See everyone back in class on April 8 at 7:50am.

Cell Phones
All grade 6 teachers met at the start of term 2 and have come to a consensus on a new cell phone policy for all grade 6 classrooms. Students will be asked to leave their cell phones at home, in their lockers or hand them in to the teacher at the start of class. If a teacher spots a student phone, it will be taken and returned at the end of the day. If there is a second offense the phone will be taken again and the parents/guardians will be contacted to come and retrieve the phone. This is in the continuing effort to make a welcoming and productive learning environment for all!
Your cooperation is appreciated. Please contact the school with any questions.
